Nurse Aide I

The Nurse Aide I program introduces students to basic nursing skills needed in a healthcare setting and is approved by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation.  A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic care under the direction of nursing staff.  They perform duties such as feeding, bathing, grooming, and changing linen.  CNAs must be licensed by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation and be listed on the Nurse Aide I Registry.

Nurse Aide I Refresher

 The Nurse Aide I Refresher course consists of a brief review of the Nurse Aide I curriculum and the competency exam required for listing as a Nurse Aide I with North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation.  Original certification expiration cannot exceed 5 years to be eligible to enroll.
