This course introduces the architecture, structure, functions, components, & models of the Internet and computer
networks. Topics include introduction to the principles of IP addressing and fundamentals of Ethernet concepts,
media, & operations. At the end of this course students should be able to implement IP addressing schemes.
This is the first course of a two-course set that prepares students to take the Cisco 100-105 ICND1 exam to gain the
Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification.
