Counseling Services at Sampson Community College provides access to the support and resources that are critical to student success. Counselors are available to assist students in achieving their academic, personal, and professional goals. The Counselors at SCC provide initial and ongoing support for admissions, academic, career, disability, personal and transfer counseling. Counseling is available to students from pre-admission through graduation.
Counseling in the Student Services Division is available to prospective and current students as well as graduates. Upon admission to the College, students meet with a counselor to select a program of study appropriate for each individual’s interests and goals. Students are encouraged to meet with counselors throughout their enrollment for progress updates. Appointments may be scheduled and walk-ins are welcome at any time during regular operating hours. Counseling is confidential and free of charge. Counseling Services are available to distance learning students. Students must use their SCC e-mail account with submitting questions online.
