About the Drama Club
The mission of the Sampson Community College Drama Club is to give people who are interested in theater in any way an opportunity to experience and learn about a variety of theatrical topics. Club members will be involved in acting, script-writing, improvisation, movie adaptations of plays, and the tech that goes into putting on a live show.
How do I join?
If you are interested in joining the SCC Drama Club, you may attend a club meeting. Club meetings are held Wedneday afternoons at 2:30pm in Kitchen Building, Room 204. Click here to view a campus map.
If you want to join the SCC Drama Club, but you aren’t able to attend a club meeting, don’t worry! You may contact Laura Carraway, the SCC Drama Club Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org to express interest in the Drama Club.
Students will be taken to a local theater to view a performance live. Date and location to be announced.
The SCC Drama Club is getting involved in the community by performing one small act of kindness each week. It can be something as simple as finding a student who is sitting alone and saying hello to them, commenting on someone’s outfit, or telling a teacher they are doing a good job. Students will also soon be voting on a local charity to support by participating in a food or clothing drive.
