If you are interested in earning credit to use towards a degree, diploma or certificate, you will need to first complete the General Admissions process. This includes students whose intention is to transfer to a four-year college or university after graduation from SCC, students currently attending another college or university that need to earn special credit for a particular course, and current high school students wanting to earn college credit while still in high school through our Career & College Promise dual-enrollment program.
New & Re-Admit Students
If you have already graduated high school and have never attended Sampson Community College (SCC), you are considered a New Student. If it has been more than a year since you have taken classes at SCC, you are a Re-Admit Student.
If you are currently attending another college or university and simply want to take a course or two at an affordable cost at Sampson Community College, you are a Visiting Student. If you want to take a for-credit class for your own personal development, you are a Special Credit Student.
If you are interested in becoming a law enforcement officer and want to enroll in the Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program at Sampson Community College, you will first need to complete the Special Admissions process.
If you are interested in enrolling in Cosmetology Instructor Training at Sampson Community College, you will first need to complete the Special Admissions process.
