Additionally, the Library subscribes to three local newspapers and nearly 70 magazines/scholarly journals. Current issues are shelved openly in the leisure reading area. The Library's holding are arranged by Library of Congress classification, and can be accessed via any of the online computers located in the Library or remotely through the Community Colleges In North Carolina (CCLINC) website.
One of the most useful research tools the Library offers is NC LIVE -- North Carolina Libraries for Virtual Education. NC LIVE is a partnership of North Carolina libraries that provides Sampson Community College students access to a vast world of unique and exclusive informational and educational resources. Full-text articles from magazines, national and local newspapers, professional and business journals, and reference sources may be retrieved via NC LIVE’s website. NC LIVE is available at every Internet-connected computer in the Library; students may also access NC Live at home once they have obtained the current password from the Library staff.

I have two children, Blake and Marcy. Blake is married and has a family, Marcy is a student at UNC-CH. I have one "baby" at home, Maxwell, my shih tzu. I love the beach, sports, reading, horseback riding, church and family time. I worked in the county school system over 12 years before coming to SCC in 2013.
