In 1996, Ms. Joy Rogers graduated with an Associate in Arts Degree from Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC. In 2001, Ms. Rogers graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication with a concentration in Media Production and a Certificate in Business and Technical Communication. In 2003, Ms. Rogers again graduated from East Carolina University earning a Master of Science Degree in Instructional Technology. For three years, Ms. Rogers has worked as an instructor at a variety of colleges including Mt. Olive College, Lenoir Community College, and Wayne Community College. Ms. Rogers plans to begin her doctoral degree in higher education. |
As the Student Activities Coordinator, Ms. Rogers hopes to bring new and exciting activities to all Sampson Community College students, both day and evening students. She also hopes to strengthen the Student Government Association (SGA) on the Sampson Community College campus, to provide a structured atmosphere where students can build leadership skills to assist them both academically and professionally, to provide fun and exciting activities to encourage team-building skills, and to provide activities where students can form life-long friendships.
