Computer Usage Policy

1. You must sign an Internet Use Policy before using the computers. The computers in the library are for internet use only. Please use the open computer lab for any other work.
   No Chat Rooms or other instant messaging service allowed.
   
2. No downloading from the Internet unless permission has been obtained from the Instructor.
   
3. Internet use, especially when the lab is in high demand, is to be limited to no more than 30 minutes per session and one hour per day.
   
4. Transmission of any material in violation of any laws, regulations, or board policy is prohibited.
   
5. Users should not create, access, display, download, or transmit any text, file, picture, graphic, or sound clip, nor should users engage in any conference that includes material which is obscene, libelous, indecent, vulgar, profane, lewd, or which advertises any product or service not permitted by law.
   
6. Users should not create, access, display, download, or transmit threatening, racist, sexist, obscene, offensive, annoying, or harassing language and/or materials such as broadcasting unsolicited messages or sending unwanted email.

Failure to follow these rules may result in loss of lab privileges and/or probation!
