| Mr. Matthews was employed at SCC in January, 2004 as a Network Administration Instructor. Prior to coming to SCC he was a math teacher at Clinton High School for four and a half years. He has worked part-time at SCC on one other occasion. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master's Degree in Industrial Technology - Digital Communication from East Carolina University. Mr. Matthews also has the following professional certifications: A+ Certified Computer Technician and Microsoft Certified Professional in Windows NT 4.0 Workstation and Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows XP, Linus+, Network+, and Security+. He is currently working towards CCNA and Red Hat certifications. |
