Wanda Capps Division Chair Mrs. Capps joined the SCC faculty in 1988 as an Associate Degree Nursing instructor. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Atlantic Christian College in Wilson and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from East Carolina University. Her graduate work is in Adult Health Nursing. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Community College Teaching from North Carolina State University. Her work experience includes being a staff nurse in the pediatric unit at Wayne Memorial Hospital and Sampson Regional Medical Center. |

Lynn Cavenaugh Division Secretary Mrs. Cavenaugh began her career at SCC in January 1999 as a student in the Information Systems Program and was also a work study student in the Basic Skills Department. In August of 1999, she was hired part time to work in the Basic Skills Department with the LEIS Data Entry. In August of 2000 she began full time as the secretary with the HRD (Human Resources Development) Department. At present time Mrs. Cavenaugh is the full time Administrative Assistant for the Division of Health Programs (Nursing). She holds an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences in Information Systems and an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences in Network Administration and Support. She was the president of Phi Theta Kappa, Beta Theta Kappa Chapter 2002-2003 and past Vice President of the SCCAEOP(Sampson Community College Association of Educational Office Professionals). |
