Susan Baxter

Susan Baxter
Division Chair

Susan Baxter joined the faculty of Sampson Community College in January of 2000. She earned her undergraduate degree at California University of Pennsylvania, and her masters degree from East Carolina University. She is the Department Chair and an instructor in the Early Childhood Education program. All previous employment was in the educational field in both private and public schools. Ms. Baxter serves as Division Chair for Education Programs which include:

  • Early Childhood Education
  • School-Age Education
  • School-Age Education with FSU Dual Enrollment (Elementary Education and Middle Grades Education)

I am a recent graduate of Sampson Community College with a degree in Busines Administration. I am retired from the Army National Guard serving 20 years as a Dental Hygiensit and have worked previously as a Pre-School Teacher.
