Just prior to graduating in 2001, he was brought into the IT department as a work study and then as a part time employee. Soon after graduation, an opportunity opened up in the IT department that allow him to be picked up full time as the Assistant Systems Administrator. Several years later Matt became the Network Administrator for the College and has recently been promoted to the Director of Computer Services. During this time, he has also pursued a Bachelor’s degree from ECU in Information Technology and is now trying to finish up his Master’s degree in Public Administration from UNCP.
