SCC - College Services

Sampson Community College has added a new staff member to assist in relations with the growing Hispanic population in Sampson County. Oscar Rodriguez is a native of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and serves as the Coordinator of Bilingual Services at the college. He is a graduate from Mount Olive College of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management and Organizational Development and also has Associate in Arts from SCC. Among his duties are translation and interpretation, coordination and program development as well as outreach and recruitment efforts. Rodriguez also counsels students who desire to enroll in classes at SCC.
