COMPASS PLACEMENT TESTING SCHEDULE
(SPRING SEMESTER 2009)
January/February/March/April/May
Sampson Community College uses placement test results to place students in the appropriate starting level courses or developmental courses. COMPASS is an untimed, computer-adaptive test. The test covers three content areas: Writing, Reading and Mathematics. To reserve your test session, please call the Admissions Office at 910-592-8084. If you must cancel or reschedule an appointment, notify the Admissions Office before your appointment. Students required to take the COMPASS exam cannot register until the tests have been taken. Please arrive at the test site at least ten minutes prior to scheduled session and bring a photo I.D. and calculator. If you have any questions, you may contact the Student Services Department at (910) 592-8084.
If you have a documented disability (either a physical or learning disability) and need special accommodations for taking the placement test, please make prior arrangements with the Director of Admissions at (910) 592-8084.
